Three Chinese astronauts docked Nov. 30 with their country’s space station, where they will overlap for several days with the three-member crew already onboard and expand the facility to its maximum size. Docking with the Tiangong station came at 5:42 a.m. Nov.30, about 6 1/2 hours after the Shenzhou-15 spaceship blasted off atop a Long March-2F carrier rocket from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on Nov.29. The six-month mission is the last in the station’s construction phase, the China Manned Space Agency said. The station’s third and final module docked with the station in November, a last step in China’s effort to maintain a constant crewed presence in orbit.

　中国の宇宙飛行士３人が11月30日、自国の宇宙ステーションに到着しました。すでに滞在中の別の搭乗員（とうじょういん）３人とともに数日間を過ごし、施設を最大サイズまで拡大する予定です。宇宙船「神舟15号」は11月29日、酒泉衛星発射（しゅせんえいせいはっしゃ）センターから長征（ちょうせい）2号ロケットFで打ち上げられ、約６時間半後の30日午前5時42分、宇宙ステーション「天宮」（てんきゅう）とドッキングしました。中国有人宇宙プロジェクト弁公室によると、今後６カ月に及ぶ任務(にんむ）は、宇宙ステーション建設の最終段階だということです。中国は地球周回軌道上に搭乗員を常駐させることをめざしており、11月には計画の最終段階としてステーションの第3モジュールと最終モジュールが接続されました。
