Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez led Argentina to a place in the finals of the Fifa World Cup. The pair scored a total of 3 goals in the semi-final match against Croatia this morning (JPT), taking a 3-0 win. This puts Argentina one step closer to winning the world cup for the first time in 36 years. As for breaking records, Messi, Argentina’s key player, set four new World Cup Records on his name in this game against Croatia.
We will have to wait until tomorrow’s semi-final match to see who Argentina will go against in the final, Morocco or France.
