Russian telecom company Megafon created a new commercial starring only the face of Bruce Willis which was deepfaked onto a Russian actor.
Willis retired from acting in March but made a deal with deepfake firm Deepcake by allowing them to use a library of his images.
Deepcake CEO Maria Chmir said that it takes about 17 days to train the algorithm initially, but after that it’s possible to create 4K video in a shorter time.
