Crowds of Halloween revelers pack a narrow alley in Seoul’s Itaewon district on Oct.29, moments before a fatal crows surge occurred. More than 150 people, including two Japanese nationals, were killed in the incident. It remained unclear what caused the crowd surge, and South Korean authorities vowed to thoroughly investigate.

韓国のソウル市内の繁華街「梨泰院（イテウォン）」で、10月29日夜、ハロウィーンのイベントで路地に密集した大勢の人が、折り重なるように倒れる事故が起き、日本人２人を含む150人以上が死亡し、130人以上が負傷しました。ハロウィーンの行事などで若者が多く集まっており、死傷者の多くが若者でした。人混みが押し寄せた原因は依然として解明されておらず、韓国当局は徹底的な調査を行うとしています。
