The Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau has announced that it will extend the so-called “Motto(More) Tokyo” discount for Tokyo residents traveling within Tokyo until the end of October.

The program, which is available to those who have received the third vaccination or have negative proof, provides subsidies of 5,000 yen per night for overnight trips of 6,000 yen or more, and 2,500 yen per day trip of 3,000 yen or more, with an additional 1,000 yen for children up to 18 years old.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government continues to call for caution in preventing the transmission of the new coronavirus.

東京都は、都民が都内を旅行する際に適用される都民割引「もっとTokyo」を1カ月延長し、今年の10月末まで行うと発表しました。

3回目のワクチン接種を受けた人や陰性証明を持っている人が対象で、6,000円以上の宿泊旅行で1泊5,000円、3,000円以上の日帰り旅行で1回2,500円を補助し、18歳までの子どもには、さらに1,000円上乗せするものです。

都は引き続き、新型コロナウイルスの感染防止に注意するよう呼び掛けています。
