A little while back I joined my very first Wednesday session! We had fewer participants than we had expected, but we had a fun time nonetheless! During the session, each of us selected and read out a news article of our choice from the clubroom’s newsroom website. It was interesting going through the wide variety of unique stories, but in the end I chose the two articles, “California to legalize jaywalking” and “New words added to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary”. Overall, it was a great first experience and I’m excited to be a part of more sessions and interact with more students. Check out the newsroom website to catch up on the news yourself!

先日、初めて水曜のセッションに参加しました。予想より参加者が少なかったのですが 良い時間を過ごすことができました。このセッションでは、クラブルームのニュースルームのウェブサイトから、各自が好きなニュース記事を選び、読み上げました。ユニークな記事がたくさんあって選ぶのも面白かったのです。最終的に私は「カリフォルニア州で横断歩行が自由に」「米辞書に追加された新語」の2本を選びました。全体として、初めての経験は素晴らしいもので、もっと多くのセッションに参加し、より多くの学生と交流できることを楽しみにしています。ニュースルームのウェブサイトでご自身でもニュースをご覧下さい！！
