Hi, I am Liz. have you ever sung a birthday song in Japanese? I have never sung it in Japanese. When people say to sing a birthday song I will sing in English naturally. I don’t know any Japanese birthday song and I don’t know even if it exists or not. In my high school class, when someone in the class was on a birthday, my teacher asked us which language to sing the birthday song. She knows so many birthday songs that are in multiple languages. That is the reason why I noticed that we don’t have a birthday song. We can say that this shows that we have a culture that is affected by other cultures. Shall we start to sing a birthday song in Japanese?
