こんにちは! The Clubroomsでインターン生として働いているShinです! 先日、初めてセッションに参加し、とても楽しい経験ができました。
セッションが始まるとまず、参加者全員がZoom上で自作のバーチャル背景を使って自己紹介を行いました。 参加者は事前に写真や絵を使って、自分だけのバーチャル背景を作っていました。例えば、私の場合、日本人でありながらインディアンスクールに通っていたので、日本の国旗とインドの国旗を使いました。また、趣味のテニスや散歩、ゲームなどの写真も入れました。全員が順番に自己紹介をした後、それぞれの興味に応じてグループに分かれ活動を行いました。
参加者の生徒さんたちが、Zoomのバーチャル背景の設定方法を覚えるのがとても早かったのが印象的でした。また、参加者の生徒さんたちがさまざまなバックグラウンドや興味をお持ちなのを知れてとても面白かったです。参加者全員とても熱心で、楽しく参加させていただきました。The Clubroomsは生徒さんたちのコミュニケーション力やチャレンジ精神を向上させるのに最適だと思います。興味のある方がいれば是非ご連絡ください！
HI! I’m Shin and I am an intern at The Clubrooms! A few days ago, I participated in the session for the first time and I really enjoyed it so let me share my experience there.
We first introduced ourselves with using a self-made virtual backgrounds on zoom. Participants had created their own unique virtual backgrounds for their introduction using photoes and drawings before the session. For example, in my case, my background had Japanese and Indian flags since I used to go to an Indian school as a Japanese. It also had pictures of tennis, strolling and gaming because they are my hobbies. After everyone took turns to introduce ourselves, we split into different groups for different activities of interest
I found it really impressive that many of our young participants was really fast at learning how to set their virtual backgrounds. Also, it was really interesting to see everyone having diverse backgrounds and interests. I had a lot of fun getting to know about the participants since everyone was so enthusiastic. I believe that The Clubrooms is the perfect place to nurture students’ communication skills and willingness to take on new challenges. Please contact us, if you are interested!
