An entertainment facility based on the “Harry Potter” film franchise opening in Tokyo next summer will feature iconic sets intended to bring the popular series to life, the Japan subsidiary of Warner Brothers announced.

    Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter is under construction on the Nerima Ward site of the Toshimaen amusement park, which closed in August 2020 after 94 years.

    The Hogwarts Great Hall, along with other recognizable spots from the franchise, will be recreated.

     The attraction will be the world’s second, following the one near London that opened in 2012.

人気映画「ハリー・ポッター」シリーズの世界観を体験できる娯楽施設が今年夏、東京にオープンすることを、運営するワーナー・ブラザースの日本法人が発表しました。

　「ワーナー・ブラザース スタジオツアー東京－メイキング・オブ・ハリー・ポッター」は、2020年８月に94年の歴史に幕を閉じた「としまえん」（東京都練馬区）の跡地で建設中です。

  「ホグワーツ魔法魔術学校の大広間」など作品に登場する誰もが知っている場所が再現されます。そのほかに「禁断の森」や「９と４分の３番線のホーム」、（魔法界の銀行の）「グリンゴッツ魔法銀行」なども再現されます。

　ロンドン近郊で2012年にオープンした同施設に続き、世界で２カ所目となります。
