Luxury brand Balenciaga has turned heads with a campaign for its new line of Paris sneakers. Images from a press release show pairs of extremely well worn shoes with a price tag of $1850. However, many of the images show shoes with more exaggerated damage than the actual Full Destroyed shoes for sale. Less worn versions of the same sneakers can also be bought for about a third of the price.

The images are meant to suggest that Paris sneakers should be worn for a lifetime, and are a commentary on the impact that quickly-disposed-of fast fashions are having on the environment.
