Hello readers! It’s Kaho, one of the high school interns here.
In this week’s Monday story time session, we read “Lisa in New York”. And Lisa is from the famous series “Lisa and Gaspard”!! This book was about Lisa visiting her uncle in New York and sightseeing in the city. We had 5 key words, and then we proceeded to quiz! Many students gasped in surprise when I revealed the answer for “How long does it take to fly from Japan to New York?”. Can you guess the answer?
It’s actually 12-13 hours! It’s a very long flight, right?
We also shared where we want to visit in the future at the end of the session. I hope everyone enjoyed it, well I did:) I’ll see you soon on Monday!

今週月曜日にあった読み聞かせセッションでは、”Lisa in New York”という本を読みました。Lisaは有名な”リサとガスパール”のリサです！この本は、Lisaがニューヨークにいるおじさんに会いに行き、観光をするという内容です。いつものように5つキーワードを確認したら、クイズをしました！参加してくれた生徒さん達は、”日本からニューヨークまで飛行機で何時間かかるでしょう？”という問題の答えに驚いていました。みなさんはこの問題の答え、わかりますか？
正解は12~13時間でした！とても長いフライトですよね？
セッションの最後には、将来どこに旅行に行ってみたいかをシェアして終わりました。参加してくれた子たちが楽しんでくれたらうれしいです:) また月曜日にセッションで会いましょう！
