Hello! Today following Taz, I would like to talk about my own experience of entrance exams. Looking back, I have taken both junior high school entrance exams and high school entrance exams. When I was in elementary school, studying for my entrance exams was a nightmare. I think I never really studied and I didnt get the point of studying in the first place. I had no idea what I wanted to become in the future. Fortunately, that was not the case for me studying for high school exams. One advice I could give as a person who doesn’t really enjoy studying and who took two entrance exams is to think of your goals. Your goals should not be getting into that specific top ranked school but a goal that truly reflects on what you want to do. Even if you don’t have a specific job that you want to pursue, that’s perfectly ok! Just know that failing that school you want to get in is not the end of the world! Good luck!
こんにちは! 今日はTazさんに続いて、私自身の受験体験談をお話したいと思います。思い返せば、私は中学受験と高校受験の両方を経験しました。小学生のころは、受験勉強どころか、勉強自体が嫌いでした。勉強をあまりしていなく、そもそも勉強する意味がわかりませんでした。自分が将来何になりたいのか、全くわかっていなかったと思います。幸いなことに、高校受験の時は中学受験の自分よりも成長したと思います。勉強があまり好きではなく、2回受験した私がアドバイスできることは、「目標を考えること」です。上位校やトップ校に入ることが目標ではなく、自分が本当にやりたいことが反映された目標でなければなりません。やりたい仕事が決まっていなくても、やりたいことがあればいいと思います。入りたい学校に落ちても、それが終わりじゃないということを頭に入れて、勉強を頑張ってください！
