I hosted one of the sessions alongside my classmate Misa who newly joined the Clubrooms as an intern. With a relatively small number of students joining the session, we changed up the ways they can participate. Instead of just presenting about themselves for the activity, we required everyone to ask at least one question or comment to all presenters.
While it took some time, it was evident that everyone was listening more intently. The ability to come up with questions requires paying close attention to the details that the speaker presents. Not only do the listeners gain the ability to be more attentive, but the speakers too can train their spontaneity in answering questions on the spot.
新しくインターンとしてClubroomsに入った同級生のミサと一緒に、先週（1/11) セッションをhostさせていただきました。今回は参加人数が少なかったのを活かし、参加ルールを少し変えてみることにしました。アクティビティーで自分のことについて発表するだけでなく、発表者全員に対して最低1つは質問やコメントをするようにとルールを追加しました。
普段より時間がかかってしまいましたが、子どもたちみんな真剣に聞いているのが伝わりました。何を質問するかを考えるには、発表者の話をよく理解することが必要です。聴く力を養えるだけでなく、話し手もその場で質問に答える考える力を鍛えることができるのです。（Anna)
