Hi! I’m TakechanJoe. I just joined my first session of The Clubrooms. It is a wonderful place for all children interested in english, music, gaming or just social interactions in general. The clubroom members dedicate the short hour or so to make the experience as fun and as engaging as possible, and it is without a doubt going to be enjoyable for everybody. This session involved a short ice break talk and playing an online game. I was surprised by how each student was engaged and it looked like they were having a lot of fun. The session itself varies from academic English lessons to a more casual gaming session where we use online games to have fun. The purpose of this program is not only to change the mundane lives of some children to a more beneficial one, but also to create a platform where children can push themselves a little bit to talk to strangers and interact with them, possibly increasing their ability to communicate with others.
Clubrooms は英語、音楽、ゲーム、または単なる話し合いが好きな子供達にぴったりの場所です。Clubroomのメンバーは皆この短い時間を最大限に楽しめる場所にしようと努力しています。この前私がメンバーとして参加した時のセッションは短い自己紹介の後みんなでゲームをしました。その時、各生徒がとても明るく楽しそうに話しているのを見て、この場所の素晴らしさに気づきました。プログラム自体は英会話レッスンからゲームまで様々な活動に取り組みます。我々の目的は子供達の余っている時間を有効活用できる場所を作ることの他、赤の他人と関わるチャンスを作ることにより少し勇気を出して話してみる、という機会を設けることです。これにより子供達が他人とのコミュニケーション能力も上がること間違いなしです！
