Nitori, a long-established furniture company in Japan, recently showed their newest lineup of \u201cGaming Furniture\u201d at \u201cTokyo Game Show 2022\u201d. While many products had the concept of \u201cmodern\u201d in common, there was one product that took inspiration from one traditional type of Japanese bedding. Launching in September 2022, the \u201cSmartphone Blanket\u201d is a perfect example of learning from the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a glance, it may seem like an ordinary blanket. However, this blanket has two holes at the top. If you put your arms through them, you can have your arms out while also covering up to your chest and shoulders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As its name, the \u201cSmartphone Blanket\u201d, people can use this blanket without giving up on comfort. On SNS, there have been numerous positive comments, such as \u201cthe person who came up with this is a genius\u201d, and \u201cI never thought of opening holes in my blanket\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
