Chaii Stop in Lancashire, England started a new rule where customers will be charged more for their chai if they don’t order it politely enough.
Those who say only “Desi Chai” must pay £5, but ordering with “Desi Chai please” will reduce the price to £3, and “Hello, Desi Chai please” brings it down further to £1.90.
The owner says that the shop doesn’t have a problem with rude customers but it’s a nice reminder to mind our manners, especially in the morning when we might not realize we’re being rude.

イギリス・ランカシャー州にあるチャイ・ストップというカフェで、丁寧な言い方で注文しない客には、高い方の料金がかかる新ルールを開始しました。

「チャイラテ（デシチャイ）」とだけ言う人には5ポンド（約842円）ですが、「チャイラテ、お願いします」と注文すると3ポンド（約505円）になり、「こんにちは、チャイラテ、お願いします」でさらに1.90ポンド（約320円）になります。

オーナーは、この店は無礼な客に困っているわけではなくとも、特に朝は自分が無礼なことをしていることに気づかないことがあるので、マナーを気にする良いきっかけとなればと語っています。
