Magazine Time Out compiled their annual list of “Coolest Neighborhoods” in the world for 2022, with Colonia Americana in Guadalajara, Mexico coming in first, followed by Cais do Sodre in Lisbon, Portugal, and Wat Bo Village in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Time Out surveyed thousands of people around the world about their favorite places that have an “independent and welcoming vibe” in terms of food, entertainment, and shopping.
Tokyo’s Shimokitazawa neighborhood came in 7th place for its vintage stores and cafes. Time Out also recommends visiting in mid-August for the Awa-Odori Festival.

東京の下北沢界隈は、ヴィンテージショップやカフェで7位に選ばれました。タイムアウト紙は、8月中旬の阿波おどりの時期に訪れることを勧めています。
